PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Priceless Benefits Portal was designed to serve as a centralized hub for Mastercard users to manage and access their exclusive benefits. Users could purchase benefits, file claims, sign up for flight passes, and track their progress. The goal was to streamline the user experience and provide easy, quick access to a wide array of benefits in one platform.

the design process

  • In the initial phase, I worked closely with Product Managers, Engineering, account managers, legal teams, and various stakeholders to define the project’s scope and requirements. This collaboration ensured that all legal and regulatory standards were met and that the platform would serve both user needs and business goals.

  • I conducted interviews with stakeholders and account managers to better understand the users’ pain points and needs. This research helped me identify the key features that users would require, such as the ability to track their purchased benefits, file claims, and manage flight passes in one unified space.

  • Based on the gathered insights, I created wireframes to map out the user journey and designed high-fidelity prototypes in Figma. The focus was on simplifying complex information and creating an intuitive layout that would allow users to quickly and easily navigate through the portal.

  • I tested the initial prototypes with a select group of users to gather feedback on usability. This feedback was essential for identifying pain points in the user experience, which I then addressed by iterating on the design. The goal was to create a portal that was fast, efficient, and easy to use for a wide variety of users.

  • In the final phase, I collaborated closely with the engineering team to ensure the design was feasible and could be smoothly implemented. I worked on refining the design, incorporating any technical feedback, and ensuring that it aligned with both the business goals and the technical constraints of the platform.

THE RESULT/impact

The portal successfully consolidated multiple benefits management tasks into a single, user-friendly platform. It improved the overall user experience by providing easier access to purchased benefits and simplifying processes such as filing claims and signing up for flight passes. The final product was well-received, meeting user needs and business objectives while offering a streamlined, efficient way for Mastercard users to manage their benefits.
